The Macabre Hunt Wrap Up

I finished The Macabre Hunt yesterday, which is themed around the works of Edgar Allen Poe.  It’s blessedly short (around 50 venders at the moment), took me only a few hours to do, and I’m absolutely in love with some of the gifts.  Check them out!

I literally gasped when this chest piece from Grim Brothers rezzed.  It it breathtaking!  The bed is lovely and heavily scripted, though it took me a few times to work out what to click to bring up the menu.   The coffin has a few graceful options for your eternal repose.

Several of the props come with brief explanations of the particular story or work they represent.  Both the crypt from Z&A Prouctions and the brick wall from Saurnine Dreams recount the plot of the very memorable (for me anyway… the stuff childhood nightmares were made of)  “The Cask of Amontillado”.

I love this furniture set, which includes a scripted desk so you can produce your own dark lit!  The skin is my favorite of the multiple great offerings , from the “new to me” “Not Buttons”, but I had to mod my shape quite a bit to make it look right.

This pendulum comes with an AO so you can swing on top or under your very own “Pit and the Pendulum” scene.  I love the soft sweet innocent face on this skin!  The bird on this necklace is very slightly animated in a lovely graceful way.
