I’ve Missed You

Dark Mouse has 6 different items (some sets) in lucky boards at the main store.  I stalked them for a few hours and won several lovely things.  Filthy continues to amaze me with their group gift skins, and the latest is worth the price of group membership all on it’s own.  The prim feet from JeSyLiLO for the Mushroom Hunting Hunt are fun, but not terribly practical. They are not tintable or scripted for color change, so they work best if you get lucky and they just happen to match your skin, or in an outfit like this, where the joint won’t show.  I don’t own a lot of prim feet though and appreciated the opportunity to try them out.

Like so many previous Plastik hunt gifts, this one is jam packed with options and extra makeups.  Likewise the Beauty Killer gift is a genrous full avatar lacking only hair, but I’m just showing the dress here.  I’ve shown these pearls before but I love them so much I find them hard to take off.  Hurry and join the Dark Mouse VIP group as they won’t be around much longer.  I made the finger tapes because I couldn’t find the LINC set that have been my favorites for a year (are they still out in the store?) and I decided I wanted a fully black nail anyway.  They are one Linden in the store if you like the look.   The COCO boots have been everywhere on the feeds, but it bears repeating that they are really spectacular.

The real reason for this post is this hair from EMO-tions though.  It’s simply amazing and some of the best ratty/messy goth hair I’ve seen in SL.  I was amazed to find it as a group gift in the store.  Hurry and grab it though, because I have no idea how long it will be there.

I wasn’t sure about this hair from Clawtooth for Fifty Linden Fridays, until I tried on the demo and fell in love.  The jacket is a dollarbie to celebrate .izm’s first anniversary.  Some of the prim pieces didn’t work very well for me, but the jacket was great with or without them.  It’s mod, so I tinted the normally pink fringe for this outfit.  While I was there I managed to spend more money on some other really cute, and very reasonably priced things.

The top is from the Lorelie lucky chair prize at ICING.  It’s mixed in with other prizes, so you have to be extra patient, but it’s so worth it.  As you can see, it’s a very versatile and well made gift.   The skin is offered in a fat pack of tones and options to ::Exodi:: VIP members (wear your tag and click the sign in store).  This is a paid group ($750L as of today), but the gifts have been frequent and awesome.   The skin has been out for a week, so hurry.

This skin is the new gift from LaVie and I love the makeup and fantasy “sparkles” on it.  Like all LaVie skins, the body is gorgeous and the detailing impeccable.  It comes in two shades, and this is the lighter.  Apple May is having a small store wide hunt to gather the parts of this outfit.  I found one pumpkin in each of the two buildings, and two outside (was there a 5th?  not sure).   It’s not that tough, and dress, boots, socks and hat (not shown) are adorable.

The Evie’s Closet dress is amazing in texturing and detail (like all Evie’s products) and is available for a short time on the lucky chair.  Mucho thanks to Eden Knoller for the port!

This 50L Friday hair from Clawtooth was the inspiration for a colorful retro look.  The clutch from Milk Motion,  and the Thimbles dress and Split Pea headband (which was just made for this hair) are all part of today’s Fifty Linden Friday.   The fun sunglasses are a gift from Glow Studio (part of a three pack), and the pearls are the Jewlery Fair gift from Dark Mouse.   The shrug is an oldie from Project Kiwi, who announced their return this week (YAY!).  Not a lot of new material yet, but I’m excited to have them back.  The shoes are mine and will be gift for an upcoming Halloween event.  More info to come.
