So I headed over to Humming the other day to pick up some tights I heard about from one of my groups and noticed that they have some new releases out.  Humming is great because they always put out one color of new releases for 1L!

~This purple skirt is only 1L and as I started to work an outfit around it…I sorta went monochrome and it got very matchy matchy.  But then I kinda liked it, so I went with it. :p
~The vest is a former weekly dollarbie from KOSH and this week they gave out this same vest in wine for their Christmas Calendar.  Are you going every day to pick up their gifts?  :p
~The scarf is free from Argrace and comes in two versions as well as one for the guys. 
~The skin is a new group gift from Lazolli.  Renee let me know about it last night…she had tried it on, and it looked really cute on her, but not so much on me.  She gave me the LM for the shape she was wearing, which comes with the wimpy skin demo from minajunk.  I went and picked it up, modded it some and thought it looked cute with this skin.  Not like me, but cute!

~This cute stripe sweater is the other new dollarbie from Humming.  I noticed this brown denim mini skirt right below it and snatched that up too.  Almost everything is only 30L at Humming and is so nicely made!
~The tights are the ones I went to pick up originally.  There are two colors for 1L.
~The adorable backpack is from Primus Weapons for the Candy Cane Hunt.  So it is not only cute, but you can use it to pelt people with little gift boxes.  Total win!  I smacked the crap out of Perion last night.  She was not amused.    Look for the mug with a candy cane sticking out of it. 
~The boots are from Surf Couture and are from the 50% sale going on through Saturday.  These boots are only 100L and see the knit uppers?  Those are color change to about a bazillion different color combos.  I LOVE these boots!

~DCNY is participating in several hunts and and has a gift in the subscribo and a dollarbie jacket.  The swing coat on the left is the gift for the Happy Holidays Hunt.  They don’t want locations given out, so I will just give you a hint.  It was close to the subscribo, you are looking for an ornament.  There is also a dollarbie version of this coat right behind the subscribo. 
~The leggings are the most recent group gift from Jill and if you haven’t gone to pick them up, you really should.  They have been so versatile and I have been able to match them to a ton of outfits.

~This outfit started with this adorable cardigan which is one of the 69L Humpday offerings from Moonshine Designs.  Love!!  So very cute and really nice textures.
~Then when I logged in, Truth dropped a new Group Gift on his subscribo members.  This scarf is fantastic and comes in a bunch of colors.  I loved the yellow stripe with the cardigan.  The hair is also by Truth and is one of 4 new releases today!

~Okay..so this cute little parka from Touche’, which is from the Down the Chimney Hunt, Renee already showed you.  But we were both working on posts at the same time and I had spent like 2 hours making an outfit around it, so I am blogging it anyway.    I adore the texturing on this jacket, it is so realistic.
~The scarf is from CLEMATIS and there are both male and female versions free here, and you get them in 4 color variations.  In this same location is the Perterb/ation Christmas Gacha.   It is 30L per play and I won this fabulous Christmas skybox.  The texturing in this is so rich and warm.  I also won the fireplace and the christmas tree.  There are about 15 items you can win in this Gacha.  A couple of the items I didn’t love, but the skybox and the fireplace made it worth it!
~These leggings were one of the Concrete Flowers Christmas Calendar gifts and came in 4 colors.  Again, I hope you guys are going every day!  Yesterday, KOSH had a fantastic vest, but I wasn’t home and didn’t get to blog it.

The evening started out innocently enough.

I was over at Creamshop checking out scarves when I received an IM from Hallie asking if I found the Catnip prize in the Down the Chimney hunt. I hadn’t. Neither had she.

I managed to buy just one scarf before deciding to embark on this new quest at Catnip. A quest that took a lot longer than it probably should have. After the second hour passed, I just lost all sense of time really. Was it that well hidden or am I really that ditzy? Perhaps a little bit of both.

I suppose I could have just taken the easy way out and asked someone nearby where it was *cough* but leave it to good ole Trevor to track it down while Hallie and I stood around gabbing about nothing in particular. As we do.

Anyway, without further ado, the ever-elusive Catnip Down The Chimney Hunt Prize – The Balance Ball. Oh, and the scarf I bought. Hee. 

This thing rules! It has a built-in AO that amuses the hell out of me.

It’s been a while since PixelDolls sent a freebie, but WOW, it was worth the wait.  These two outfits are beautifully detailed and completely free in the store.   I’m showing them with more of the Down the Chimney Hunt loot, and note that although this is our third post on the hunt, there are STILL gifts we haven’t shown you.  If you haven’t done it yet, why not?   I’m also wearing my new gift boots “Winter Knit” in cream.  They’ll be going out to the subscribo folks tomorrow, but if you can’t wait, they are already in my inworld group.  More colors, including a dollarbie, will show up in the store this week (when the hunt lag dies back). 

The pen is a gift from Sanu (in a box, outside the front entrance).  It gives a prezzie when you click on it.  So cute!

One hunt item I really want to talk up from this set is the Window Seat from Second Spaces.  It’s simply adorable, with an animated pose that is really wonderful.  Best of all, the accessories (wicker baskets, boxes, etc) are separate and can be copied and moved to fill those shelves, or be used else where.  I can’t tell you how much I love it!   Also shown is the Tree House hunt gift from “The Sea Hole”.  This thing is massive, and so detailed.  I love the kitchen cabinetry, and the way it sits in the branches of a giant tree.

So I tried to get a jump on things and start this hunt last night, but it turns out, a lot of stores weren’t quite ready and the official start to the hunt has been delayed until noon SLT today.  You can check the blog for a list of stores, which is what I did and just hopped around to find the stuff that was out. 

I did find lots of good stuff, but if I were you, I would wait until they get everything up and running so you don’ t have to go back to a ton of stores like I do.  I think this is definately (edit, spelling fail) a hunt worth doing!  Only 100 stores and there are tons of great stores.  I can’t wait to see the rest of the prizes!
