Hunt of the Living Dead

I got the notecard and immediately sprung into action.

“Throw on a pot of coffee, McCullough! We’re going hunting!” I announced to Gabby.
“Buh? It’s 11 o’clock at night!” she countered.
“That’s what the coffee is for! C’mon!”
“But I don’t drink coffeeeeee…” she whined.
“How is this MY problem? Let’s GO!!”

I dropped the notecard on her and knowing there’d be no shutting me up, Gabby was off and running.

While I waited for the first store to rezz, Gabby was home and opening up the prizes. Yes, she’s THAT good.  An hour or so later, I joined her.

“OK, good. We’re done. I’m logging now,” she said.
“The hell you are! I hafta take pictures! I want to blog this!”
“But I have to get up early!”
“That’s fascinating. Now hold still.”

Gabby grumbled a few obscenities and suggested that I go do some vulgar things to myself, so I knew I had to keep her attention. I tried the scare tactic:

As you can tell from her expression, it worked. But only for a little while.

“P, seriously. Let’s finish this tomorrow,” she suggested.
Having none of that, I knew I had to up the ante. I whipped out a chainsaw and started waving it around.

I believe Gabby muted me at this point because she chose to ignore me. No matter. But I knew if I backed off, she’d take off on me.

So I took out my bladed lunchbox and waved that around for a while. This told her I meant business.

“You are SUCH a pain in the ass!” she exclaimed.
