So, these are the last of the free skins that came out when I was moving.  I am sure they have all been blogged but I don’t like leaving things unfinished, so I am bloggin ‘em anyway. 

Plus, I am totally into scarves this year and a lot of really nice ones have been released as gifts.  Again, you may have seen them blogged, but I wanted to anyway…cuz I’m stubborn like that.

~Up first is this pretty skin from IrEn, which is in the group notices.  You should hurry on this, as it has been out for a while.  Search :::: IrEn ::::  Designs and check the notices. 
~This scarf is from G Field and is a freebie at this huge Christmas Market.  When I got the notice from G Field, I ran over and checked around for other freebies but I didn’t find any.  It was super laggy, and the place is huge, so maybe I missed some.  But this scarf was worth the trip…you get it in both red and white. 
~The sweater is a freebie by MeteoRain and I picked it up a couple weeks ago when I was getting the free necklace I previous blogged. 
~The mouth thing is from [LP] and there are 2 styles available for 1L each.

~Again, you might want to hurry as I don’t know how long this skin will be out.  It is so adorable.  The lips are fantastic, the freckles are perfectly done and I love this eye makeup.  The gift skin comes in all tones.
~The eyes are a freebie by Shine called Mardi Gras and are very pretty.  There are several other freebies available there, including another set of eyes I will show later.

Lookit me, I’m trashy!

I spent the morning wandering around Harrold doing the trash hunt, and I’ve got to say, it wasn’t laggy at all.  In fact, no one was there.  Now I know there are 10 sims, and that’s a bit overwhelming, and I know the lag in some of them is awful, so when you are burned out, come by Harrold and find the 5 items I have hidden in Area 408.   I’m wearing them in the photo, and they are all free.  This gorgeous skin is a new release from Free Speerit, Fiona Gold.  A version is available in the group as a gift.

~This sweater is fabulously textured and the prim parts are incredibly well made.  It is such a bargain at 50L!  The sale ends tonight at midnight, so you need to hurry if you want to snatch this up!  Edit to add:   the sweater is towards the back of the store, on the right as you are facing in.  Oh…and my plans got cancelled.   No need to rush after all.  :/

Mischief and AtomicBambi

Mischief and AtomicBambi kindly dropped a couple review items on me and I loved them both.  Now that I am back I want to show these to you before I get back into hunting down freebies.  Although…there are a couple freebies in this post…you all know me, I can’t not include a good freebie!

~Janie Marlowe of Mischief sent me these adorable Bitty Bolero sweaters.  They are so cute and well textured and have prim cuffs, collar and waist tie.  They come in an array of colors and are only 150L per color!  I just love these for winter!
~The baggy socks are also from Mischief and are the November Group Gift.  I am not sure if previous gifts are available in the subscribo, but if not, hit it up anyway.  Janie sends really nice gifts frequently!
~The tank I put under the sweater is from Ohmai and is from the Starlust Garbage Hunt.  Look around the store for pieces of trash and you can find a bunch of color pack of these tanks for only 1L each.  I found 4 color packs. 
~The necklace and earrings are from Dark Mouse and are only 50L until the 30th.  This is part of the sale I blogged yesterday.  I really love these Moon & Star sets and it worked perfectly with this sweater.

~The body of the AtomicBambi skins are very soft and pretty.  I am not a huge fan of the nipples on this skin, but since I never get naked it doesn’t really matter.

Since Gabby And I bought different stuff for 50L Friday

… I’ll post my finds too!  Of course we both bought that amazing Tyranny skin, and I’ve wanted this Clawtooth hair since I first saw it on the feeds.   T.Z. is a newish store to me, and I love the cuffs on this Wooly Roll Neck Sweater.  The jacket layer has an odd band of white around the bottom, but you cover it with the prim piece so it won’t matter.  Tres Blah appealed to my inner (or outer) nerd with these “chunky chuck” glasses.   I thought the Milk Motion Plaid pants went perfectly with the sweater,  although, word of warning, the waistband on these lacks detail, meaning you need to cover it with a longish sweater or shirt Lastly, this is my favorite of Miel’s 50L Jewlery Offerings so far (even if I can’t wear most of it because of lack of attachment points – there’s a necklace and bracelett too).

Black Friday and Dark Mouse Sale!

Okay…so everyone knows it is Black 50L Friday in SL, and I haven’t had a chance to look at the feeds, but I imagine everything has been blogged already.  *sad face*  I am going to show a few things I picked up, a few of my very favorites, but I also wanted to show stuff from Dark Mouse that is also on sale through the 30th! 
I got a notice this morning that Dark Mouse is participating in the Artist’s Voice event and there are a ton of things in the store marked down to 50L, plus fatpacks of those items are only 100L!!

~These boots from Surf Couture are wonderful!  I love them and now want them in every color!  The texturing is absolutely fabulous and so realistic.
~The skin from Tyranny…I can’t even say how much I love it.  There will be facial close-ups coming up, and wait until you see the lips on this skin.   Also, you get to choose from all the skin tones!
~The sweater from Doppleganger is amazing.  It comes with 3 different colors of under blouse, or you can wear it without, and also prim color and cuffs.  Love it!
~The hair is by lamb and there are 2 other styles out for 50L also.  I love this one…very, very cute!
~The leggings are by Sh*t Happens and there are 4 different patterns to choose from and you get a fat pack of each pattern for only 50L!  I chose the stripes.

I’m baaack!

Did anyone miss me?  or notice I was gone?    
I am moved, have internet hooked up, and the house finally closed, so I can finally start looking at my humongous pile of stuff I need to blog.  *sobs quietly* 
What I decided to do was easy myself in slowly.  ;p  So I am doing a teeny little outfit and a skin that I think rocks.  These things aren’t new anymore, so you probably have seen them on other blogs, but I hope I have put my own little twist on it.

~The skin is the most recent group gift from Staged, called Judy in Frost.  There is a 50L join fee for the group, but I think it is well worth it!  The body on this skin is smokin’ hot, which is why I decided to show it with this very, very small outfit.  ;p  On previous Staged skins, I wasn’t really a huge fan of the nipples, but the ones on this skin I think are really nice!  Very nice improvement, in my opinion.  The belly is super sexy and look at the butt!  It looks just adorable in these little christmas panties…
~which are a gift from {Torrify} !  You get 3 different colors and you also get the candy cane for your mouth!  So cute!
~The adorable sweater is a gift from {Lark} at the Elliot location.  I just adore this sweater, the textures are wonderful, and the bow and buttons are prim.  I really think the buttons on this sweater are such a nice touch.

~The bracelet is the newest group gift from Earthstones.  There is a 250L join fee for this group.  This bracelet goes with a necklace and earring set that is still out as a VIP Group Gift.  The newest gift also includes a ring. 
~The shoes are not free, but they are quite fabulous.  They are one of the newest releases from Kalnins and are color change in SO many different ways.  Each part of the shoe can be colored separately.  The HUD to change the shoe, nail and skin colors is quite user friendly.

Bucharest Afternoon

At the prodding of some friends I’ve been checking out some of the listings in the Destination Guide, and the Showcase (in the search box).  If you are a longtime resident who’s mostly oblivious to anything that doesn’t involve shopping or building, (ie: me), I highly recommend it.  Turns out, there are a ton of really interesting, elaborate, creative and educational sims out there.   Who knew?  Today I landed in Virtual Bucharest and enjoyed strolling around and getting the builder’s vision of that storied city.  And of course, I was wearing a few new things and a few freebies while I soaked up the atmosphere.

The shoe fair lag is not as bad as you think…

I promise!  If you haven’t been there to grab a pair of these new Anexx boots, go now.    Throwing on these perfectly broken in, amazingly detailed boots put me in mind of a wintery hike, and this sweater I’ve had in my inventory for a while.   This is by far my favorite of all of Doppleganger’s offerings.  The layers on this thing are almost overwhelming… it has more options than I can think of ways to use it, with multiple colors for the shirt.  The bag is also amazingly detailed, and is the group gift for November from Yourskin Yourshape.    The eyes the latest free gift offering from Poetic Colors, called “blue autumn”.
